All players from all teams are welcome to march in the parade as a representative of the league. Participation is not mandatory, but if you do please make sure that you designate an adult to supervise your team. Here are some specifics: • Parade begins at 9:00am at the high school • Your team should be there at 8:15am • Have your players wear your uniforms and comfortable marching shoes - not cleats! • Players can march by themselves or with a parent. • Parade ends by 10:30 in the center of town by the Congregational Church • The players need to picked-up at the Church. • Coaches, please do not leave until each one has been safely returned. This is truly a fun time for all. However, Memorial Day is a day for remembering, thanks and respect. While the fun will abound, let’s remember the spirit of Memorial Day! |
